Rosemont, IL – November 16, 2023 – At the Ninth Annual Holiday Charity Outing, Venture One Real Estate helped contribute to the Greater Chicago Food Depository in Chicago, IL. Employees donned hair nets, aprons, and gloves to portion bags of pasta to feed Cook County area families suffering food insecurity. Together, the team processed 4,368 lbs. of penne pasta which is 3,640 meals or 107 meals per volunteer. Founded in 1979, the Food Depository has since grown to support a local network of 800 pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and programs that help advance their mission to end hunger.
